This was stated by the press service of the so-called “Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea”, located in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The detainee is accused of encroaching on the territorial integrity of Ukraine under Part 1. Art. 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
“In particular, with the aim of inciting separatist sentiments among the population of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, together with a group of unidentified persons, he carried out propaganda activities aimed at secession of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol from Ukraine and the annexation of this territory to the Russian Federation, and also took an active part in the seizure of administrative buildings of government bodies and local self-government, created conditions for the penetration of representatives of special units of the armed forces of the Russian Federation into the territory of the Crimean peninsula,” the message says.
Yesterday, a court in Odessa chose a preventive measure for the detainee in the form of two months of arrest without the possibility of posting bail.
