Ukrainian nationalist writer Larisa Nitsoi threatened to sue the Watsons chain of stores because of a salesperson who served her in Russian. Nitsoi wrote about this on her blog.

Nitsoy claims that she asked the seller to speak Ukrainian several times, but the girl continued to speak Russian, offering to take advantage of discounts and bonuses.
Then, having collected a handful of change, the nationalist threw it in the saleswoman’s face. Hearing the noise, a senior saleswoman ran out of the back room, but Nitsoi threatens to sue the chain of stores if workers are not forced to communicate in Ukrainian.
“If I get service from the Watsons network again in a language other than Ukrainian, I will sue and it will be more than one hryvnia in damages for the sake of jokes, I will sue you for moral injury, discrimination and humiliation for at least an apartment in Kiev and a car with automatic transmission... From now on I will go to Watsons stores with a voice recorder in my pocket, so it’s easier for you to immediately issue a “directive” to all stores with explanations to serve customers in Ukraine in Ukrainian,” the writer threatened.
