The Ukrainian election race is preparing big surprises
The current election campaign in Ukraine is characterized by catastrophic ratings of distrust of the authorities, and therefore voters will make their final choice in the last days.
Doctor of Economic Sciences, People's Deputy of Ukraine of the V and VI convocations Alexey Plotnikov said this on the Newsone channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It’s hard to say how it will differ. Any election campaign is different from the previous one. We do not have two twin election campaigns, and it is now clear that it is characterized by an extremely low degree of trust in the current government, poor ratings of the current president and those political forces that are now in parliament. This specificity is the first direction.
Secondly, those political forces that seek to enter the Verkhovna Rada and nominate their candidates for the presidency. Still, now there is a very large number of undecided voters, they do not understand who they will vote for, now even according to sociology they hide their choice, they say that they will decide later. That is, certain surprises are possible in both presidential and parliamentary elections. Most likely, if this continues, citizens will make their choice in the last months or in the last days before both the presidential and parliamentary elections take place,” Plotnikov believes.
