The Ukrainian “Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” opened a criminal case against the director of the State Enterprise “Massandra” and former deputy of the Supreme Council of Crimea Yanina Pavlenko on a number of articles. “Prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” Nazar Kholodnytskyi stated this on Hromadske TV.

Among other things, Pavlenko is accused of embezzlement of state property for opening a bottle of 240-year-old sherry during a visit to the Crimean enterprise by Russian President Vladimir Putin and former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.
“In addition to high treason, we have added to the charge a charge under Part 5 of Article 191 – large-scale appropriation of state property. Investigative actions are currently underway in this case. We ordered an examination to determine the exact cost of the wine,” Kholodnitsky said.
