The Ukrainian prosecutor's office decided to take revenge on the security guard Lyashko
The prosecutor's office announced suspicion in criminal proceedings of an attack on people's deputy Andrei Gerus to the security guard of former people's deputy Oleg Lyashko, for whom a preventive measure has also already been chosen as part of the same proceedings, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Information about this was released by the press secretary of the prosecutor's office of the Kyiv region, Maryana Gaiovskaya.
“Yes, he is suspected of aiding and abetting the deliberate infliction of minor bodily harm on a people’s deputy of Ukraine in connection with his state activities,” Gaiovskaya said.
Security guard Lyashko was charged under Part 5 of Article 27, Part 346 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As the Kiev publication UNN clarifies, the guard filmed the moment Lyashko communicated with Gerus. Also, he allegedly helped ensure that Gerus could not resist Lyashko’s actions and grabbed the people’s deputy by the hand and held him.
On November 18, ex-people's deputy Oleg Lyashko received suspicions of an attack on people's deputy Andrei Gerus at the Boryspil prosecutor's office. So, he was informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 346 of the Criminal Code (threat or violence against a state or public figure, namely the intentional infliction of moderate or minor bodily injury on persons specified in part one of this article, beating or committing other violent acts in connection with their state or public activities ).
On November 19, the Boryspil city district court chose a preventive measure for the people's deputy of the previous convocation Oleg Lyashko in the form of a personal guarantee of people's deputies from Poroshenko's party.
On November 28, the Kiev Court of Appeal left Oleg Lyashko on bail.
