Ukrainian industry never received EU markets
Three years after Euromaidan, the products of Ukrainian industry have not reached the markets of the European Union. This was stated at a conference in Kyiv by Vladimir Savchenko, General Director of the NP “Business Center for Economic Development of the CIS”.

“Today you supply 50% of your products to the CIS countries. Today you are at the forefront of a number of things, but today you won’t be allowed anywhere. Today you have 29 thousand technical regulations in the aircraft industry. You need to change 18 thousand so that your engine, which you are selling today as a product for rocket science, is recognized in Europe,” he said at the Second International Trade and Industrial Conference “Free Trade Zones: Opportunities and Challenges for Ukraine and Partners.”
Vladimir Sokolin, Chairman of the CIS Interstate Statistical Committee, agrees with this opinion.
“You shouldn’t think that your desire alone is enough to enter the European market. I'm not even talking about technical regulations. At one time, the Russian commission for the implementation of regulations realized that this was such an expensive thing with unknown consequences that at some stage they abandoned it. This is a very complex process,” Sokolin said at the same conference.
