The British fleet, in agreement with Ukraine, has the right to enter Ukrainian territorial waters everywhere. What they have done and will continue to do. And the Americans will continue to do this.
And Russia can only express deep concern, because when you have few weapons, and there are armadas, you sit quietly and keep quiet. This is against Ukraine, “a good fellow is against the sheep,” as they say, and “against the good fellow is the sheep himself.” Therefore, let them sit quietly and keep quiet,” he said.
If Ukraine creates a strong army, Russia will have to reckon with it.
“No one will protect us, no one is going to do this, so we must protect ourselves. Therefore, we need to spend the money that we steal from our country on the army. And everything will be fine, and then Putin will ask for negotiations. There is no other way, because when he encounters a serious army, he will respect him, but otherwise he will not respect him, because we are stealing from ourselves already during the war. Therefore, they won’t respect us for nothing,” said Dmitry Gordon.
Former Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Valeriy Chaly also called for new provocations off the coast of Crimea.
“Russian hawks' appetites increase while they eat. This is a daring, cynical policy. Persuasion will not work here - only coercion to de-occupation.
Preventing the bandit actions of the Russian leadership to torpedo freedom of navigation is the right step. But a one-time action without further steps can have the opposite effect. Actions must be coordinated, consistent and systematic,” Chaly urges.
He believes that otherwise Russia will begin to act on its own, and Ukraine will remain landlocked.
“If the United States and NATO countries give up, the consequences will be felt very quickly not only along the Russian Nord Stream 2 pipeline, but also in the South China Sea, and subsequently in the Arctic. And for Ukraine, if the Russian scenario is implemented, the consequences will be absolutely enormous - from the loss of the status of a maritime power to an attack from the sea on the southern and south-eastern part of the country. Therefore, we must fight back now,” Chaly writes on his blog.
