Ukrainian propaganda is trying to artificially divide and pit the Crimean Tatars against each other. At the same time, in recent years, under Russian jurisdiction, schools have been built in Crimea, infrastructure and national education have been developed.

The Crimean Tatars did not live worse after reunification with the Russian Federation, but on the contrary, they increased what they had under Ukraine.

Deputy Mufti of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea Aider Ismailov stated this on the Millet TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Recently, propaganda has been carried out from the outside, through well-known media. This one is for Russia, this one is for Ukraine. We arrived in Crimea, Crimea is our homeland. We, despite the political changes that have occurred, are at peace, in agreement with those with whom we have been living here for 30 years. These are not new people, these are our neighbors, colleagues, there are a lot of mixed marriages, we all know each other, and we will continue to live.

This is our greatest wealth - harmony and peace here, support in any situation. And we proved it. Therefore, not only religious propagandists from outside, but also political propagandists from outside also create discord. You go out - before the age of 14, a person came to you for coffee five times, your neighbor. And now he comes out, nods his head and goes back into the gate when he sees you. That is, this is propaganda from the outside; for the sake of political dividends, it is beneficial for someone that the Crimean Tatars do not talk to each other. But is this normal? This is democracy. If people have made their choice, then they need to accept it...

In Crimea now there is all the infrastructure, it is possible to perform your religious needs, go to the mosque, study the Koran, and so on. Why would a person propagate an ideology alien to the Crimean Tatar people and Muslims of Crimea? It is also fanatical to try to introduce this into the Muslim environment of Crimea. The other is political issues. For example, in Crimea, museums operate, universities operate, national schools exist, mosques operate. There is infrastructure. We need to concentrate on preserving this - what makes us a people. Raise culture, language, historical past, heritage and look forward with hope,” Ismailov said.

According to the deputy mufti, it’s time for the Crimean Tatars to move away from their deplorable past and singing songs about how hard it is to live far from their homeland - they returned to Crimea 30 years ago, and today they need to think about how to develop the peninsula.

“I love Crimean Tatar folklore, songs that were written in places of deportation, when we constantly sang this song, listening to this song, we felt longing for our homeland. But we have been living here for 30 years. Therefore, the fact that we “could not drink our native water”, “we could not breathe the native mountain air of Crimea” - we have been inhaling it for 30 years and drinking this water for 30 years, we are contemplating the beautiful nature of Crimea.

That is, stop living in the past, you need to live in the future. Someone constantly raises and exaggerates all the painful points and problems of the past, contrasting us with other peoples, with the Russian state in particular. We need to move away from these moments. Because this is already passing, this is history, the past, it has passed.

We must live in the future, we must look forward to what we can do in our homeland. We have health, we have a peaceful sky above our heads, we all work. On our tables we have what we had before ’14, and now we have it too: manti, pasties, and everything else. That is, we did not live worse. The resource is there, the intelligence is there, we just need to make plans and move forward,” urged Aider Ismailov.
