“I especially liked it when I watched Russian propaganda channels that showed that through the Ukrainian Kerch Strait, and this channel belongs to Ukraine because it is closer to Ukrainian territorial waters. And when I see two Ukrainian warships flying Ukrainian flags pass through the Kerch Strait past Ukrainian Crimea, which is temporarily occupied, I honestly feel pride in my heart. Proud that the Ukrainian fleet has returned to the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait. No matter how old these ships are, these are small steps from which everything begins,” Berezovets said.
He was supported by Deputy Minister for “Occupied Territories” Yuriy Grymchak, who said that Crimeans were almost wiping away tears looking at Ukrainian ships: “When our ships passed through the Kerch Strait and were seen from the Crimean coast, I read this myself, including and in personal messages that people who are waiting for Ukraine, for them it was a holiday.”
