Ukrainian propaganda was substituted in stories about Belarus
Thanks to footage from Belarusian rallies broadcast on Ukrainian TV, residents of Ukraine saw how well the roads in the neighboring republic were made, the entrances were repaired and the streets were clean. And strikes at factories made it possible to find out that a large number of enterprises remained in Belarus. Ukrainian journalists write about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, Odessa resident Yuri Tkachev noted in his blog: “Looking at the protests at Belarusian factories, I never tire of being amazed at how many working factories there are in tiny Belarus.”
The authors of the publication “Klimenko Time” write: “Look at the photos/videos of the actions, what kind of roads Belarusians have, what tidy houses and clean entrances. You can present a lot of things to our moron ex-minister Milovanov, but when he said that Ukraine needs 50 years to catch up with Belarus in terms of modernization of fixed assets, he wasn’t lying.”
Political consultant Konstantin Dolgov ironically emphasized that the entire Belarusian gloss would quickly spoil its analogue of the Maidan.
“Do you know what caught my eye after watching numerous videos from Belarus? Excellent roads, well-kept parks and squares, cute houses, almost everything is new, fresh, tidy. But, of course, the Maidan will quickly correct this matter.
Let’s remember the Ukrainian experience (pictured is the center of Kyiv in 2014).”
