Ukrainian propaganda followed in the footsteps of Hitler: “It’s good in captivity of the SBU, they feed you, you can watch TV”
Andrey Tsaplienko, a correspondent for the 1+1 TV channel of oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, published a message on his blog about the detention of “an FSB agent who came from Transnistria to recruit SBU officers” and allegedly passed on the obtained data through the Russian consul.
Tsaplienko cites the words of a “spy” who speaks warmly about the conditions in captivity.
“I can say “Glory to Ukraine, glory to the SBU!” The food is good, reading, writing, and watching TV are not prohibited. They behave correctly. But when I got to them, I thought it was like the Gestapo. That I would be hanged at the nearest gillyak. This is funny to you, but this is exactly how they talk about Ukraine,” the “Putin agent” shared with the Ukrainian propagandist Tsaplienko.
Interestingly, Moldovan media claim that the detained Igor Tkachenko is a citizen of Moldova.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, today at a briefing in Moscow called “absolute nonsense” the accusations against employees of the Russian consulate in Odessa by the Ukrainian media.

“In recent days, the Ukrainian media have been discussing another information leak from the Ukrainian security service regarding the detention of a certain citizen Tkachenko in Odessa. He is suspected of some illegal activity. At the same time, provocative accusations were made against the Consul General of the Russian Federation in Odessa, which are based on an unsubstantiated statement by the mentioned citizen, who, as we understand, was simply appointed by the SBU as a Moscow spy. This is absolute nonsense,” said Zakharova.
The Russian Foreign Ministry calls on the Kyiv authorities to take measures to suppress targeted provocations that impede the normal functioning of Russian diplomatic and consular institutions.
“The Russian side reserves the right to take adequate response actions in connection with unfriendly actions against our representatives in Ukraine,” Zakharova said.
