Ukrainian propaganda in panic predicts the victory of pro-Russian forces throughout the country
The previous government actually launched the current leader of the OPZZH, Viktor Medvedchuk, into big politics, but the current government does not have the courage to oust him.
Ukrainian TV presenter and propagandist Tatyana Danilenko stated this on the air of the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The risk is not just a victory for pro-Russian forces in the east of the country. There is also a risk that pro-Russian forces, unfortunately, can win in Central Ukraine, and in Southern and Eastern Ukraine - right up to the Lviv region. I think that we are returning to the situation that existed in the early 2000s, when Kuchma was president, there were a lot of conditionally pro-Russian forces,” Danilenko said.
“The fact is that a year ago the pro-Russian forces had a maximum electoral ceiling of 11%. It was believed that in the state there are 11% of stubborn quilted jackets and they are not growing more. Unfortunately, this is not just the year when Zelensky became president, but this is the year when pro-Russian forces monopolized the media: they invested millions of dollars in YouTube, they invested tens of millions in television.
A year ago, the Zik TV channel, on which I had the honor of working, was sold to Medvechuk, which has now become the most hysterical, most inadequate conductor of everything Russian. And in general, it’s simple, from my point of view, sabotage actions are what’s happening there.
Over this year, having this media fist, the pro-Russian forces have broken through the ceiling of 11% and now we see the ratings that they have on a nationwide scale [more than 20%]. Unfortunately, in this sense, I don’t see anything effective that the previous government would do, and even more so I don’t see what the current government would do,” the propagandist added.
According to her, Medvedchuk felt insecure in the country before Maidan-2.
“Even Yanukovych pushed him out of the window. He was afraid to live in the country. Kuchma, who made him head of the presidential administration, did not allow him into big politics, did not allow him to become a player in the first echelon. Not a single Ukrainian president allowed Medvechuk to break out into the stratosphere in which he now resides in Ukrainian politics.
Unfortunately, the previous government contributed to what is happening now, and the current government is absolutely toothless, spineless, afraid of everything both outside and inside, and defenseless in the face of all challenges, allowing them to unfold in full,” admitted Danilenko.
