Ukrainian propaganda is furious: German TV recognized Crimea as Russian
The influential German TV channel ARD once again designated Crimea as Russian territory.
This happened during the broadcast of a story about NATO expansion, dedicated to the entry of Sweden and Finland into the Alliance, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
So, on the map that was shown on the screen, the German broadcaster indicated that as of 2022, the peninsula is part of the Russian Federation.
This caused indignation among the Kyiv anti-Russian propagandist Andrei Tsaplienko.
“German television seems to consider Crimea Russian. This map was shown on May 17 at 20:15 in the Brennpunkt program on the ARD channel. Are Ukrainian diplomats reacting?” Tsaplienko is indignant.
At the time of publication of the material, there was no reaction from representatives of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry. Let us note that this is not the first time that ARD has designated the peninsula as part of the Russian Federation - a similar map appeared on the TV channel in January last year, but then, after an appeal was made to them, the ARD administration apologized and called it a technical error, promising not to allow this to happen in the future.
