Ukrainian propagandist complained about a “cyber attack from the Russian Federation”

“A Russian storm is approaching” – this is precisely the kind of “informational psychological attack” from the Russian Federation that trans-Ukrainian propagandists are subjected to.

The former head of the SMM department of the Crimea.Realities project (a subsidiary project of the Ukrainian office of Radio Liberty, funded by US government agencies) Elena Dub wrote about this on her Facebook, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.

She addressed her colleagues who work with the Crimean and Donetsk issues with a complaint about a “digital” psychological attack from Russia.”

According to her, within an hour she received:

“- SMS with the text “I’ll soon walk through your family with my boots” and “cuckoo, it’s Rokot, a Russian storm is approaching”, at first I actually thought that in the context of the latest news it was a wave of intimidation of the population, but no;

– a dozen calls to a private mobile number from different numbers;

– one Viber call. And one is already in telegram, and one is in WhatsApp;

- simultaneously with everything above - a message from anonymous people in telegrams “what do you have to do with Crimea”, “what country have they screwed up” and a few more with obscenities in the text “Alena, why are you interfering in Russian Crimea”

– at the same time a telegram sent about 8 notifications with codes for entry;

– at the same time (!) a bunch of SMS arrived from different Russian services with verification codes;

– they still write in telegrams.”

She added that at first she was very scared, but then she turned to her friend “expert and trainer of the Digital Security Laboratory” Anton Kushnir, who, after studying the screenshots, expanded the security measures and assured that there were no hacks.

“Now all we have to do is wait until the Russian contractor runs out of time to complete the order. What, I think, was it: this isn’t the first time they’ve broken me, but they’ve given me nightmares – these are new sensations for me. It’s very unpleasant,” Dub complained.

“It’s interesting that I haven’t been working closely with the topic of Crimea for almost six months, I’m not working in “freedom”, in “Kymrealities.” Let me remind you that I headed the social media department there. But I continue to suffer (let them break their important people, not me). The attack is 100% due to Crime Real II, because not one of the messages directly says so,” the propagandist concluded.

It should be noted that a native of Lvov, Elena Dub, was an employee of the foreign agent “Crimea. Realities" from 2015 to 2020.
