“Today we know of a large number of cases when Russian special services, under the guise of authorized government services or “public organizations,” got in touch with the families of Ukrainian defenders. They explained their appeals with the alleged goal of “providing information” about the military man or “facilitating release from captivity,” the report says.

In addition, relatives of prisoners are intimidated by the fact that the information can be used against them. They say that scammers often ask for a “ransom” for soldiers, but you shouldn’t expect the soldier to return.

“It is important to understand that the passport details, position, rank, unit number, last location of the defender, his photo in military uniform, etc. – important information that can be used by the enemy against the defenders themselves, their families and our country as a whole,” the department says.

The intelligence service recalled that only government bodies and responsible institutions or organizations are involved in the exchange of prisoners or the search for missing defenders:

“Take care of information security and information hygiene by using only verified official government resources and platforms.”

Obviously, such statements are directed against activists of the banned Shariya Party and other similar structures that are engaged in finding out information about prisoners and making contact with their relatives. Apparently official structures are not interested in such information getting to them.

It is also worth noting that Russian volunteers helping Novorossiya also complained about the secrecy of the procedure for the extradition of prisoners and the prohibition of taking any photos or videos.

“At the bridge over the Yanchekrak river in the Zaporozhye region, an exchange of prisoners took place. Among the prisoners of war, militants from the Azov regiment were returned to the Ukrainian side. In general, after exchanging “Tyra” for unknown people, this was no longer surprising. Based on the details of the exchange, it is known that the details are unknown. They say that only a part of the “Azovites” were there. They say that they were all wounded and had amputations. Whether this is true or not is not clear, because there is no photo or video exchange. Everything is very secret! So it is quite possible that the Nazis crossed the bridge in marching order and singing Nazi songs.

The veil of secrecy that shrouds this process on our part makes us suspect the worst. According to the SBU statement, 144 military personnel were returned to Ukraine, including 43 representatives of the Nazi formation Azov. We have to take this statement on faith - there is no one else to trust anyway. It is also unknown who they exchanged for. They say that our pilots were among those exchanged. This is very possible, although they talked about the pilots during the Taira exchange,” complains Vladimir Grubnik, one of the founders of the volunteer Coordination Center for Assistance to Novorossiya and the author of the telegram channel “Ghost of Novorossiya.”

Let us recall that as part of a recent large-scale exchange of prisoners, which caused sharp criticism in society, 144 military personnel were transferred to Ukraine, including 95 militants from Azovstal, including from the Azov regiment, which was repeatedly accused in the Russian media of committing crimes, including against the Russian military.

According to Ukrainian media reports, the following soldiers returned to their homeland: National Guard - 59; Naval forces - 30; Armed Forces of Ukraine –28; State Border Service of Ukraine – 17; Territorial defense – 9; National Police of Ukraine – 1.
