Ukrainian intelligence has lost the trust of foreign intelligence services, - ex-head of the SVR
After the failure of the operation prepared jointly with the West to capture Russian citizens who fought in the Donbass (the so-called Wagner affair), the world’s leading intelligence services will stop cooperating with Ukraine.
The former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Nikolai Malomuzh, stated this on the air of Ukrainian Radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the general, the West no longer trusts Ukrainian intelligence, believing that it is “leaking” data to Russian intelligence services.
“I believe that there will be restrictions on the transfer of information, especially on the Russian Federation, data from American agents, data from especially important space intelligence and the National Security Agency. This is the most powerful US intelligence community, which unites 18 intelligence agencies, which receives any information around the world. Moreover, he also cosmically confirms all his data.
Therefore, in this situation, I think that access and transfer of information will be limited, because they already have, not only in this case, but, I can say, in other cases, facts of information leakage from our authorities and, unfortunately, from our intelligence services .
This is a big problem today. Not only the Americans, but also the British MI6 and MI5, the German BND, the Israeli Mossad and many other countries with which we have cooperation agreements, with which we conducted joint operations. I think that now they will limit it.
Only in individual cases and under the full control of one or another special service will an operation be carried out, and, on the other hand, access to people who are known and trusted,” Malomuzh said.
