According to him, studies have shown that the majority of the population expects the situation in Ukraine to worsen, but are ready to continue the war. And “schizophrenia” lies in the fact that the overwhelming majority of respondents do not believe in victory in the war.
“52% of citizens believe that the situation will worsen in the near future. There is fear in society. But at the same time, 53% are ready to continue the ATO. And to the question: “Do you think the war should last until a victorious end?”, 59% of respondents answered positively. But when asked if they agreed that there are no winners in a civil war, 72% said yes. This speaks of the most serious social schizophrenia in our society,” Kopatko said.
