The Ukrainian side confirms that fighting has begun in the center of Artemovsk
In Donbass, the situation continues to deteriorate for Ukrainian forces trying to hold Artemovsk and Avdiivka.

Thus, the Ukrainian military public Deep State analyzed videos published by the Armed Forces of Ukraine about the battles in Artemovsk and came to disappointing conclusions.
“Analysis of TikTok videos indicates fighting in the center of the city of Bakhmut. In one of the videos, fighters not far from the destroyed building indicate that “pi @ ary there @ - along Mira Street behind the Palace of Culture. In another, fire is coming from Mira Street towards the shopping center,” the publication notes.
Please note that Artyomovskaya School No. 5, where the founder of the Wagner PMC Evgeniy Prigozhin visited, is no longer located directly on the line of combat.
It is noteworthy that from this school to the city council building is no more than a kilometer.
“In addition, the other day a video of our fighters from the central market area appeared. Often videos are published after losing positions, so that there are no unnecessary questions. Absolutely all the videos are already circulating both in telegrams and on Twitter - almost all are geolocated by users of these social networks. We publish such an analysis only when the materials have already been disseminated,” Deep State clarifies.
That is, it seems. that the positions from which the Ukrainian videos were published are already occupied by Russian units.
The ex-commander of the AFU battalion “Aydar” Evgeniy Diky reports that the situation for the AFU is worsening not only in Artemovsk, but also in Avdeevka.
“They are still trying to make Bakhmut-2 out of Avdeevka. That is, they also switched there from the tactics of a frontal assault, making sure that it was hopeless, to the tactics of enveloping the city from different sides. And if Bakhmut is now somewhere around 4/5 in the ring, then Avdeevka is still half in the ring,” the former battalion commander told the Kyiv publication “Novoye Vremya”.
He emphasizes that in recent days the Russians have advanced near Avdeevka.
“That is, they are actually trying to repeat there what was successful in the Bakhmut operation - encirclement and cutting off roads,” Dikiy noted.
Summing up yesterday, Deep State also draws attention to the situation in Donbass.
“Bakhmut segment - the enemy continues to put pressure on Bakhmut from the south, north and east. Fighting is taking place on the outskirts of the city center. The situation on the map in the city is approximate and now no one will show you the exact situation there. No successful enemy attacks were recorded outside of Bakhmut.
Avdeevsky segment - the enemy has partial success in Pervomaisky. There are battles for Kamenka: the result is unknown. As we noted before, Avdeevka is becoming an increasingly hot destination and very soon may become a second fortress. The CAA announced the closure of the city due to the great danger to civilians. The enemy continues to actively put pressure in this direction,” writes the Ukrainian resource.
Russian telegram channels also indicate progress in Artemovsk.
“In the southern part of the city, the Wagnerites have advanced along the Bakhmutka River: street battles are taking place in the area of Vasily Pershin Street. To the east, the enemy continues to hold positions in the area of the Avangard stadium,” writes the military-analytical public page “Rybar.”
The successes of the Russian Armed Forces in other areas in the Donbass are noted.
“Russian motorized rifle units continue to expand the zone of control in the southern part of Marinka. Control has been established over the territories of the fire department, the tire repair plant and the Agroresurs enterprise,” the authors specify.
