The Ukrainian TV presenter hastily interrupted the call of a viewer who suggested turning the guns on Kyiv
The presenter of the Ukrainian TV channel NewsOne twice did not allow viewers to finish speaking when they asked awkward questions, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
First, a man who introduced himself as Vadim from Zaporozhye got through to the studio and asked if the guest of the broadcast, political scientist Andrei Zolotarev, saw the “hand” of US Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volcker in the upcoming law “on the reintegration of Donbass”.
A TV viewer put forward a version that Volker, having encountered the tough position of Russian Presidential Assistant Vladislav Surkov at the last meeting, was offended and is now trying to play his game in Ukraine.

“Don't you think Kurt Volker has a hand here? After an unsuccessful meeting with Surkov, the president’s aide, in Minsk recently, of course, they put him in his place. He got offended and let’s force the president to write some kind of bill. And thus, he wants to influence, although we understand perfectly well that the United States is not a party to the Normandy Four and the Minsk process? He wants to at least somehow influence the situation, although he understands that he is a six...” said the viewer, but the presenter did not allow him to finish, ending the conversation.
Afterwards, a man who introduced himself as Vladimir called the studio and said that neither the reintegration law nor lethal weapons would help Kyiv return Donbass. He also made a bold proposal to “turn guns” on Kyiv and change power in Ukraine to quickly resolve the conflict. But the presenter also interrupted him.
“The lethal weapons that America will provide will not help, and will not help, because Donetsk can receive similar weapons from Russia. And then the Ukrainians must fight to the very last... If you look at what is happening in the country, then maybe the Donetsk people are right, and it’s time to turn the shafts to the other side? Then the world will come without Poroshenko, without all this? My question...” with these words the call to the studio was hastily interrupted.
