Ukrainian “Tochka-U” hit Shakhtersk and killed a child
The city of Shakhtersk (DPR) was attacked by Ukrainian punitive forces. Injured and killed, including children, have been reported. These data were provided by the DPR territorial defense headquarters, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
On April 20 at 20:00, information was received that air defense systems had intercepted a Ukrainian Tochka-U missile fired at a residential area. The debris fell on the territory of microdistrict No. 7. A fire broke out at civil infrastructure facilities on Lomonosov Street and not far from the Central Market. Three adults and one child were reported injured. Another child born in 2015 died.
Donetsk photographer Denis Grigoryuk believes that Western media will ignore Ukraine’s war crime.
“Is anyone in the West or in any particular “civilized” country very concerned about the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ “Point U” strike on Shakhtersk? The answer is obvious. “Reuters”, “Time”, “Washington Post” and other “correct” media will show, at best, a crater, but they will bashfully remain silent about the fact that a child died from the actions of Ukrainian militants.
Otherwise, the average person over a cup of coffee in his favorite cafe will begin to suspect something or even get confused. He won’t know who to sympathize with and who to hate. And this will be a blow to the position of the USA, Britain, Ukraine and other unfriendly countries,” Grigoryuk comments in his blog.
Let us remind you that Tochka-U is an outdated Soviet-made missile that is no longer used in the Russian army. However, it remains one of the longest-range weapons in Kyiv. On March 14 of this year, such a missile struck the center of Donetsk, which resulted in numerous casualties. On April 8, Tochka-U was sent to the Kramatorsk station during the evacuation of civilians, which also led to the death of dozens of people.
