Olga Khalepa, a teacher at the Yakovlevsky Lyceum in the Kharkov region, reads rap to students in grades 5-8 and covers rock bands on biology, botany and natural history.

Khalepa independently films and edits the clips and publishes them on her video blog. Some of the videos received more than five thousand views, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

In one of the latest videos, Khalepa covered the song “Pretty Fly” by the American punk rock band “The Offspring”, composing her own poems on the topic of the characteristics of mushrooms.

In the video, the teacher runs across a field in camouflage with a trident on his sleeve and talks about the types of mushrooms, their structure and usefulness. The description of the video says that this distance lesson was recorded for 6th grade students. This video has already been watched by more than 21 thousand users.
