The Ukrainian elite wrote off Chubarov as scrap
The Ukrainian leadership refuses to communicate with the Mejlis members and to include their militants detained in Crimea in the exchange lists.
The chairman of a group banned in the Russian Federation, ex-member of the Verkhovna Rada Refat Chubarov, stated this on air on the Public Crimea TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the extremist, the office of the Ukrainian Ombudsman also does not answer him.
“For three days now I have not been able to contact the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova. The third day I write notes to her, she says: “I’ll call you, I’ll call you” and doesn’t dial.
As for the Office of the President, they have completely different problems. Let it be on their conscience, how relevant it is for the country. To this day, negotiations are ongoing with groups, with factions, to provide votes for certain bills. But, indeed, in recent weeks we have not had a single consultation regarding the fact that the Crimean Tatars again remain outside the scope of a possible exchange,” Chubarov said.
Let us recall that both Poroshenko and Zelensky promised, but did not implement, the inclusion in the Constitution of Ukraine of a mention of a virtual “Crimean Tatar autonomy”, which the Mejlis members demand to create in the event of a hypothetical return of the peninsula to the control of Kyiv.
Ukrainian Nazis from Azov are categorically against such autonomy, insisting that Ukraine is a unitary state.
