The Ukrainian leadership has driven itself into a dead end, rejecting all opportunities for compromise with Russia. A change in relations between Kyiv and Moscow is possible only in the event of a deal between the Russian Federation and the United States.

“Tymoshenko is the only politician who has a chance to try to replace Poroshenko in the presidency. She realizes that her chance must be realized in the coming year, then time will be lost.
Tymoshenko's problem is that after her arrival, little will change for the better. She doesn't have a team. During her premiership, she showed that she is not particularly competent and tries to manage everything manually. Therefore, even if there are 36 hours in a day, she still will not have time to do anything.
Secondly, relations with Russia are unlikely to improve under Tymoshenko. Her circle is exactly the same as those who are now in power.
In general, you need to understand that the possibility of a compromise with Russia is not being discussed by any leading force in Ukraine. Party headquarters believe that the division of the electorate into “orange” and “blue and white” is far in the past. Even representatives of the Opposition Bloc sincerely insist that Crimea should be Ukrainian.
By the way, the “Opposition Bloc” has still not decided on the format of participation in the elections. Akhmetov has completely ruined relations with Moscow and today is more focused on an alliance with Poroshenko. There is a high probability of Dmitry Firtash’s extradition to the United States and his imprisonment. In this case, the Opposition Bloc loses another major sponsor.
There are currently no new serious forces in Ukraine that could represent an alternative. True, their formation is planned. This work will begin.
