Ukrainian authorities have set about destroying the middle class
Representatives of small businesses are absolutely right in demanding that the Ukrainian government ease quarantine conditions, since large businesses are operating.
The ex-Minister of Transport and Communications, People's Deputy of Ukraine of the IV convocation Yevgeniy Chervonenko stated this on the TV channel "Ukraine 24", a correspondent of "PolitNavigator" reports.
“The state becomes a policeman. In other countries they are now turning a blind eye even to the shadow market - just so that people survive. But our officials have one thing in their heads - where to get the money. The fact that Epicenter or McDonald’s can do it, or Roshen with its coffee shops, but you [small businesses] can’t do it is the greatest meanness. In any country, heads would roll for this, to the very top.
They are trying to ensure that there is no middle class, so that we become slaves. But they won't succeed. You came to the hired managers in the Cabinet of Ministers building, but they forgot that this was a former NKVD building, with cameras downstairs. And no one came to you. They will finish the game, but we don’t want that,” Chervonenko said.
