Ukrainian authorities panicked – Pogrebinsky
By appearing in parliament and demanding the adoption of a law on the sale of land, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky showed that he was in a state of panic.
This opinion was expressed in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda by the director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflictology, Mikhail Pogrebinsky.
“I think the head of state is in panic. Despite how a professional actor portrays calm. But real actions indicate that he is in panic - the measures taken indicate precisely this state of his,” Pogrebinsky noted.
According to him, the Ukrainian government takes strict anti-epidemiological measures, but at the same time “cannot control its own declared rigidity.”
“What does a leader feel if he comes to parliament at this very moment? Arguing that it is now necessary to pass a law on land - isn’t this a sign of panic? When this topic is not on the agenda at all, Zelensky finds an excuse: pass this law, otherwise they won’t give us money! A qualified leader will not say in his parliament that we have been given an ultimatum - and we must immediately satisfy it,” the political scientist said.
