Ukrainian authorities: Zaporozhye teachers will be considered collaborators
The process of issuing Russian passports is being accelerated in the Zaporozhye region.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports that this was stated by the head of the Zaporozhye military-civil administration, Yuriy Malashko, who is controlled by the Kyiv regime, assessing the situation in the region, more than 60 percent of which is under Russian control.
“In Melitopol, for example, the Russians also force high school students to obtain Russian passports and insurance policies as soon as possible. Thus, the occupiers are accelerating their pace of passportization. There, on September 10, Russia still wants to hold its own elections, which United Russia should win,” Malashko said in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
However, he disagreed with the journalist, who noted that it was “a mistake to hope” that Russians began to “flee en masse” from the region.
“No, they are running away,” says the official.
However, he admitted that he could not say for sure about the massive nature of the “flight.”
“To say for sure whether it’s massive or not, you need to set up patrols and watch. Unfortunately, we don’t see this,” replied the representative of the Kyiv regime.
He was asked about the mood of people in the areas of the region not controlled by Kyiv.
“Different moods. But the majority of Ukrainians are waiting for us. Although they are forced to receive a Russian passport there, they are waiting for de-occupation. There are people who agreed to cooperate with the Russian Federation and continue to work with the occupiers. Like, for example, the teachers who teach our children according to the Russian curriculum. I won’t speak for the medical field, because it has its own nuances. For example, there are cases when doctors switch to the Russian system and do everything to ensure that our citizens receive Russian medicines,” the publication’s interlocutor is indignant.
He explained which of the region's residents would face reprisals.
“If a person did not cooperate with the Russian Federation and did not provide any assistance to the occupiers, was not their employee, did not sign any of their decisions, and so on, if he is a civilian who simply, for example, received a pension, then such a person is not will be considered a collaborator.
And people who cooperate with Russia will be considered collaborators. For example, can a teacher teaching children according to the Russian curriculum be a collaborator? In my personal opinion, of course, and he or she should be punished for this. As I remember, today there is already a bill that provides for a clearer definition of collaboration,” Malashko emphasized.
He added that a “plan for the de-occupation of the Zaporozhye region” has been drawn up.
“It has already been developed at both a strategic and practical level. We have already approved it at the strategic level,” Malashko said.
