Ukrainian foreign trade has gone into a multi-billion dollar minus
Ukraine's foreign trade deficit in goods in January-July of this year amounted to $4,3 billion, which is one and a half times more than a year earlier.
This is evidenced by data from the country's State Customs Service.
For 7 months of 2022, trade turnover amounted to $55,7 billion. In January-July of this year, goods worth $30 billion were imported to Ukraine. Products worth $25,7 billion were exported from Ukraine.
Countries from which imported the most to Ukraine: China - $4,2 billion, Poland - $2,7 billion and Germany - $2,6 billion.
Ukraine exported the most to Poland - $3,8 billion, Romania - $1,7 billion, China - $1,6 billion.
The following categories of goods were most imported to Ukraine:
machinery, equipment and transport - $8,3 billion.
fuel and energy products - $7,6 billion.
The top three most exported goods from Ukraine include:
food products - $11,5 billion.
metals and products made from them - $4,4 billion.
