After an increase in the price of natural gas by 23,5% during the heating season, tariffs for housing and communal services will increase by 15-17% for citizens of Ukraine.
This was discussed during a press conference on the topic: “Expensive gas in exchange for a tranche: what will inflation and the dollar exchange rate be?” said economist Viktor Skarshevsky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“With a small lag, but in a couple of months, perhaps not even from December, but from January, prices will rise, and people in their payments will see increased tariffs of about 15-17%,” the economist said.
He emphasized that the price increase is due to an increase in natural gas tariffs.
“And in general, payments will become more expensive for Ukrainian citizens compared to last year, meaning by the same 15-17% during the heating season after the increase in natural gas tariffs by 23,5%,” Skarshevsky noted.
