A Ukrainian journalist tried to provoke Poroshenko, but she lost sight of it
Ukrainian TV presenter Tatyana Danilenko, wearing a T-shirt with the inscription “Who ordered Handzyuk,” tried to ask an awkward question to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko,
The incident occurred during Poroshenko’s press conference in Kyiv today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Initially, the journalist, who previously, by the way, worked for Poroshenko’s Channel 5, asked the president whether there were Russian agents in the Ukrainian special services.
“Let me react to your T-shirt. I am ready and share your concern. First of all, we will not allow the image of the state to be spoiled by failure to investigate the cases of activists,” Poroshenko said.
After this, the journalist disappeared, modestly noting that she was not the only one who came wearing such a T-shirt, but Poroshenko no longer heard her.
“I have a lot in common with Ekaterina. According to many testimonies, Katerina Handzyuk is a very bright and honest person, a real activist who is guided by the interests of the people of Ukraine. And moreover, there is no reason to oppose her and, for example, Poroshenko, while she has repeatedly stated that she supports me... After the terrible tragedy, Prosecutor General Lutsenko was in her room the very next day. I had a frank conversation with him: Ekaterina managed to give enough information before her tragic death,” Poroshenko said.
Ukrainian journalist and video blogger Anatoly Shariy sarcastically commented on this micro-incident on his Facebook page.
“Journalist Tatyana Danilenko put on a T-shirt “Who ordered Handzyuk,” but, standing up, suddenly thanked Poroshenko for everything and demanded that the special services do a better job of exposing enemy spies. Sit down, Tanya. You have become really cool,” Shariy wrote.
As PolitNavigator reported, Kherson Maidan activist Gandzyuk participants of the so-called “ATO” threw acid in the facewho fought in Donbass. At the moment, there are five people involved in the case, all five are members of the neo-Nazi “Ukrainian Volunteer Army”, controlled by the founder of the “Right Sector” Dmitry Yarosh.
Let us recall that earlier Poroshenko preferred avoid international embarrassment by refusing to attend Strasbourg debate, where the issue of Ukraine’s failure to comply with the clauses of the association agreement with the EU was discussed, including the issue of Handzyuk’s premature death.
