Serhiy Osnach, a member of the Expert Commission on Distribution and Exhibition of Films, stated this in an interview with Hromadska Radio.
“TV channels broadcast films with banned Russian artists on New Year’s Day, and this is a direct violation of the law. “Inter” also “delighted” the audience with a concert with Ukrainian collaboration artists, and this was clearly done for the purpose of provocation. But I am more concerned about the violation of the law, namely the broadcast of films with artists who are included in the list of persons who pose a threat to national security. This list is published by the Ministry of Culture on its website, and films and programs are prohibited from broadcasting,” Osnach said.
He also stated that he now wants to see the proper reaction of the National Council.
In addition, in his blog, Osnach was outraged by the fact that “clinical racists” Yuri Solomin and Leonid Kuravlev have not yet been included in the black list of banned artists, and therefore films with the participation of these actors continue to be shown on Ukrainian TV channels.
