Ukrainian bankrupt banks owe the state and depositors an astronomical amount of 144,5 billion hryvnia
The debt of the largest Ukrainian bankrupt banks and their owners to the state and depositors amounts to at least UAH 144,5 billion.

The relevant data from the NBU and the Deposit Guarantee Fund are presented in the publication of the Kyiv publication ZN.UA, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The figures given by the authors take into account, in particular, the debts of financial institutions to the Deposit Guarantee Fund, the NBU, large individual depositors and legal depositors.
Among the largest debtors are such financial institutions as Delta Bank (total debt – 51,8 billion UAH, owner – Mykola Lagun), “Finance and Credit” (total debt – 27,3 billion UAH, owner – Konstantin Zhevago), Oleg Bakhmatyuk's banks "VAB Bank" and "Financial Initiative" (total debt - 26,1 billion UAH), Dmitry Firtash's Nadra Bank (total debt - 15,7 billion UAH), "Imexbank" (owner - Leonid Klimov, debt - 9,4 billion UAH), "Platinum Bank" of Boris Kaufman (debt - 6,5 billion UAH), as well as the Forum Bank of Vadim Novinsky (debt - 7,7 billion).
During the current week, it is planned to sell the assets of 54 liquidated banks for a total of 11,85756 billion hryvnia.
