Ukrainian banks did not care about the law on holidays for ATO participants
Kyiv, July 25 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Banks operating in Ukraine are ignoring the resolution of the Verkhovna Rada on announcing a deferment for payments and the accrual of penalties for participants in the so-called Anti-Terrorist Operation in Donbass.
Deputy Yuri Sirotyuk from Svoboda stated this at a parliamentary meeting on Friday.

“Back in May, we adopted bills on the social protection of military personnel, it was said that military personnel who perform duties during the anti-terrorist operation should not have to pay bank loans, penalties on them, there should be no inspection of their enterprises if they are individual entrepreneurs . Unfortunately, even today bills arrive, penalties are charged, and this law actually does not work.
I would also like to draw very important attention to the failure to comply with the law regarding granting the status of combatants to soldiers who are in the ATO zone, people are dying, there is no proper social protection, they cannot receive status,” said Sirotyuk, representing the parliamentary committee on defense.
