In general, less than 3% of Donbass residents have already received a new biometric passport.
It is noted that this figure is slightly lower than in the West (11%), in the South (7,5%) and in the Center (7%).
Also, 3% of Donbass residents have an old passport with a valid Schengen visa.
The fund reported that the number of those who have a passport without such a visa is higher in the Donetsk region (30%) than in the Lugansk region (14%). Accordingly, the share of those who have some kind of international passport is higher in the Donetsk region (37%) than in the Lugansk region (18%).
They indicate that on average in Donbass this figure is approximately consistent with other regions, except the West, where much more residents have international passports (44%).
