Ukrainian fighters on the front line are out of control of the command
On the very first day of the “New Year’s truce,” the Ukrainian side clearly showed that its observance was not planned in principle. There are a number of reasons for this: the inability to control the units by the command and the refusal of the ATO militants to follow the instructions of their superiors.
This information was announced during the briefing by the official representative of the DPR Armed Forces, Colonel Eduard Basurin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to him, there are two versions explaining this behavior of the enemy:
“The first is that junior-level “platoon-company” commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who are on the front line, are either unable to control their units, or personally, in pursuit of their goals, give commands to use weapons in the direction of the Republic.
And the second – illegal armed groups on the front line (illegal armed groups), such as "UDA" (Ukrainian volunteer army) and Right Sector, refused to follow the instructions of the ATO headquarters to observe the truce.”
It is obvious that the officers of the Ukrainian side of the JCCC failed to fulfill their functional duties. Instead of objectively and impartially recording ceasefire violations by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, these officials, disregarding their conscience and officer’s honor, deny and turn a blind eye to the firing of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the “New Year’s truce.”
The DPR Armed Forces once again call on the top leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to calm down their subordinates and Nazis who spit on their command, its instructions and written orders.
“All responsibility for observing the ceasefire lies with the commander of the ATO Zabrodsky and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Muzhenko,” summed up Basurin.
