Ukrainian fighters against informers from “Peacemaker” reached the German Bundestag
The fight against the scandalous informing resource “Peacemaker,” which has been waged by human rights activists of the Ukrainian initiative “Uspishna Varta” for more than a year, has reached the level of the German Bundestag, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Uspishna Varta” reports this on its page on the social network.
“Our analysis and the collected facts of human rights violations by the “Peacemaker” resource interested the German faction Die Linke (Left). Politicians turned to the Bundestag to clarify the situation in combating the illegal activities of the “Peacemaker” resource.
The appeal raised the issue of the Ukrainian border service using the “Peacemaker” database to control persons entering the country. Since there are known facts when, based on information from “Peacemaker,” border guards refused entry and detained people,” the human rights activists said in a statement.
It is reported that Die Linke was concerned about the position of the German government regarding the appointment of the then current President Poroshenko as acting Deputy Minister for “Occupied Territories” Georgiy Tuki, who, according to media reports, was directly involved in the activities of the “Peacemaker” website.
