Ukrainian UAVs again unsuccessfully tried to attack Zmeiny Island
The Russian military repelled another attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack Zmeiny Island in the Black Sea.
This was stated at a briefing in Moscow by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Igor Konashenkov, the correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.
According to Konashenkov, several drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were shot down over the past XNUMX hours, one of which was heading towards Zmeiny Island.
“Nine Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense at night, including four in the area of the settlement of Balakleya in the Kharkov region, three in the area of Rubezhnoye of the Lugansk People’s Republic, one in the area of Zmeiny Island, as well as one “Bairaktar-TB2” in the area of the settlement Arkhangelskoye, Nikolaev region,” Konashenkov said.
In addition, over the past 93 hours, 500 objects and about XNUMX areas where Ukrainian troops were concentrated were destroyed.
“During the night, operational-tactical and army aviation hit 93 objects, including two control points, 69 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment, as well as three ammunition depots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Rocket troops and artillery units hit 407 areas where manpower and military equipment were concentrated, 13 control posts, four positions of Osa-AKM anti-aircraft missile systems and 14 ammunition depots were destroyed. As a result of the strikes, more than 280 nationalists were killed and 59 units of military equipment were disabled,” Konashenkov said.
