Ukrainian armored boats in Azov were surrounded by Russians and threatened to shoot back
Tonight, an incident occurred in the Sea of Azov involving armored boats of the Ukrainian Navy, which, as a convoy, followed ships leaving Ukrainian ports in the direction of the Kerch Strait - apparently to prevent Russian border guards from carrying out checks (the inspection regime was tightened even after the provocation of Kyiv with the seizure of the Crimean seiner "North").
The court economist of the Party of Regions, and now a member of the Maidan of Foreign Affairs, Andrei Klimenko, who fled from Crimea, spoke about the incident in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The night was hot. At least five FSB boats carried out coordinated provocative maneuvers against our three small aircraft. The commands were given by the Russian Coast Guard ship No. 734. In the morning we all returned. According to sources, at night, in response to threats from the Russian ship, our sailors had to warn about their readiness to use weapons. We chatted. The information was verified by me personally, the incident occurred 25 miles from the strait, ours were escorted by commercial ships,” Klimenko wrote.
It should be assumed that Klimenko, traditionally, embellishes the “formidable actions” of the Ukrainian side. Thus, in 2018, he argued that Russia is terribly afraid of ideologically motivated young “sea wolves” appointed as commanders of Ukrainian armored boats. We were talking about former cadets of the Nakhimov School, who in 2014 pointedly refused to take the Russian oath and left Sevastopol. However, soon the commanders of the Ukrainian boats, praised by Klimenko, surrendered without a fight while trying to break through the Kerch Strait.
One way or another, the message about the incident seriously aroused the former fake representative of the President of Ukraine in the “ARC” Boris Babin. In his blog, he demanded to use the emergency as a reason to terminate the agreement between the Russian Federation and Ukraine on the joint use of the Sea of Azov.
“On Azov, Ukraine should urgently make high, overripe decisions,” Babin demands.
