Ukrainian everyday life: due to the theft of a copper wire from an overhead line, a fast electric train stood on the tracks for two hours
Due to the theft of 90 meters of copper wire from an overhead line, the INTERCITY+ electric train on the Truskavets-Kyiv-Darnitsa route was delayed in the Lviv region for 115 minutes.

This was reported by the communications department of the Lviv region police.
“On June 22, at about 06.30, the Drohobych police department received a message from the management of the Lviv Railway that copper wire had been stolen at Gai Verkhniye station at night, as a result of which the movement of the Truskavets-Kiev-Darnitsa train was delayed at 115 minutes,” the message says.
As law enforcement officers found out, a total of 90 m of contact copper wire was stolen from the overhead line. The identities of the attackers involved in the crime are being established.
In fact, criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 1 of Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (theft). The sanction of the article provides for punishment up to imprisonment for a term of up to 3 years.
