Ukrainian bookmakers have placed their bets on the second round of elections
The largest sports betting operators consider Vladimir Zelensky the favorite in the fight for the presidency of Ukraine and do not believe that Retro Poroshenko will win, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is evidenced by a survey of bookmakers conducted by the Kyiv publication UNN.
In the first round of voting, Vladimir Zelensky won, gaining 30,24% of the votes. Only 15,95% of citizens expressed support for his competitor Petro Poroshenko. Based on the gaps between the ratings (14,29%) after the first round, according to bookmakers, we can say that Zelensky is the clear favorite, and Poroshenko’s chances are quite modest.
For example, the Ukrainian bookmaker Favorit makes it possible to bet on Zelensky with odds of 1,33. Poroshenko's victory is estimated at a coefficient of 3,05.
Two more popular bookmakers in Ukraine, Pari-Match and 1xBet, are also confident in Zelensky’s triumph: 1,35 and 1,21, respectively. Poroshenko's chances: 3,10 and 3,26.
Regarding foreign bookmakers, the Austrian company Bwin is even more confident in its preference for Zelensky - 1,28 versus 3,4 for the current guarantor.
It is interesting that before the start of the first round, most bookmakers did not give any advantage to any of the candidates, giving approximately the same odds for their victory - 2,0-2,1.
