The state organization Spetstechnoexport was at the center of the scandal. It is part of the Ukroboronprom corporation. Spetstechnoexport is engaged in the supply of Ukrainian military equipment, mainly tanks and helicopters, abroad.
The official income of the management does not exceed 100 thousand UAH per year, while even just the head of one of the sectors of one of the departments of Spetstechnoexport, Dmitry Yaremich, together with his wife, have a fleet of vehicles worth more than 1,5 million UAH.
Journalists from the Groshi program reported this in their investigation.
The deputy head of the first department of Spetstechnoexport, Svyatoslav Mironenko, who earned only 2013 thousand UAH in 115, drives around in a Lexus worth about 800 thousand UAH.
As TV people note, there is a photo of Svyatoslav Mironenko on the Internet, where he poses in a military uniform with the PTN-PNH logo.
His boss, the head of the Spetstechnoexport department, Alexey Cherednik, earns not much more than Mironenko, and at the same time drives an Audi worth a million UAH.
The authors of the story suggest that Cherednik and Mironenko are doing business outside the framework of the state structure. So both of them created a private company called “Spetstekhnoplast”, probably involved in fraud around “Spetstekhnoexport”, TV people suspect.
