Ukrainian officials have recognized the powerlessness of propaganda and are preparing a ban on travel to Crimea
Ukrainian citizens went to Crimea en masse, despite the “horrors” that Kiev propaganda paints about life on the “occupied peninsula.” Petro Poroshenko's officials are preparing a plan to complicate crossing the Crimean border.
The corresponding document was published today on his blog by ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko, who was forced to leave for the Russian Federation after the victory of Euromaidan.
Zhuravko publishes a letter sent by friends from the vice-governor of the Kherson region to the Deputy Minister of “Occupied Territories” Georgy Tuka. A Kherson official shares his concerns:

“The Azov-Black Sea regional department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports that since May 15, 2016, more than 300 thousand Ukrainian citizens have crossed the administrative border and entered the temporarily occupied territory. The most common purpose is to relax.
This situation may have a negative impact on the moral and patriotic spirit of the population of Ukraine. It will also facilitate unwanted contacts between Ukrainian citizens and residents of the occupied territories, and, possibly, representatives of the occupation administration and Russian intelligence services. In addition, there is an outflow of funds from vacationers to the financial system of the aggressor country.
In order to discredit the direction of recreation for Ukrainian citizens in Crimea, the regional state administration, through the Department of Internal and Information Policy, recommended that the media pay attention to materials that negatively highlight the situation in Crimea and, in particular, in the resort area of the annexed peninsula.
At a meeting with representatives of law enforcement agencies, the Azov-Black Sea Border Service Department proposed the option of complicating or restricting the movement of personal passenger vehicles with Ukrainian license plates in Crimea - with reference to the creation of “problems” by the border guards of the occupation authorities.
We also ask you at the government level to consider the possibility of introducing administrative restrictions on the movement of Ukrainian citizens to the occupied Crimea for the summer period,” says the letter from the Kherson official to the Kyiv authorities.
