Ukrainian diplomats were outraged by the opening of the DPR representative office in Belgium
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Ukraine are monitoring the situation surrounding the creation of the center of the Donetsk People's Republic in Belgium, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported at the Ukrainian Embassy in Brussels.
“The information about the opening of a representative office or representative center of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic in Belgium is another attempt by Russia and its occupation administration in the temporarily occupied areas of the Donetsk region to legitimize its presence under the guise of quasi-entities,” the diplomats said.
The embassy expressed confidence that the position of the Kingdom of Belgium and its officials remains unchanged - Belgium continues to support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Ukraine in Belgium are monitoring the situation surrounding the creation of this center and are actively cooperating with the Foreign Ministry of Belgium and other competent authorities of the country in order to neutralize actions that can be used by Russian propaganda in the information war against Ukraine and the world,” it says in a message from diplomats.
