Ukrainian saboteurs admitted during interrogation by the FSB that they are career officers of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine
The FSB published a video of interrogations of saboteurs of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Besarabov and Dmitry Shtyblikov, who planned terrorist attacks on the territory of Sevastopol and were detained last week.

Lieutenant Colonel Besarabov, by his own admission, has been an employee of the Ukrainian special services since 1999.
“In 1999 he graduated from the Sevastopol Higher Naval School. Nakhimov, graduated from Kiev National University in 2008 with a degree in journalism. I am a soldier of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. After graduating from military school, he served as an assistant, a senior assistant in the information department of the naval intelligence center of the Ukrainian Navy, and an officer in the special intelligence department of the intelligence department of the headquarters of the Ukrainian Navy. Since 2008, I have been an officer in the operational reserve of the 14th department of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, lieutenant colonel,” said Besarabov.
The second detainee, Dmitry Shtyblikov, confirmed previously published information that the civilian cover of his activities was work at the Novos center in Sevastopol, and after the reunification of Crimea with Russia, he got a job as a civilian employee in the Russian Ministry of Defense. All this time, he collected data on Russian military units and military movements to commit sabotage.
“From the moment I entered the Military-Diplomatic Institute at the National Academy of Ukraine in 1998, I actually started working at the Main Intelligence Directorate. After graduating from the institute, he actually became an officer of the Main Intelligence Directorate. After graduation, he was appointed to the position of assistant chief of the operational department of a separate group of the naval intelligence center based in the city of Sevastopol. The Ukrainian intelligence officer transmitted information through codes over the Internet, and went to Ukraine to get money for his work.
“The information was transmitted via the Internet using an encryption program I received from the State Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine. There was no clear schedule, but they were always sent once or twice a week. For communication, I received a satellite phone. I received funds that were handed over to me personally by curators when visiting mainland Ukraine,” admitted Shtyblikov.
