Ukrainian saboteurs tried to break into the DPR at night
Sabotage groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to break into the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic. The DPR Ministry of Defense informed the PolitNavigator correspondent about this.

“With the onset of darkness, two enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups of 10-15 people each tried to penetrate the territory of the Republic in the area of the settlement. Vodyanoe. Covering the retreat of their saboteurs, Ukrainian soldiers from the 59th infantry brigade opened indiscriminate fire from infantry fighting vehicles and small arms at DPR positions,” the report says.
The well-known military correspondent Marina Kharkova, in turn, reports another attempt to infiltrate Ukrainian saboteurs.
“At about 5 a.m. on August 2, an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group tried to break through the defense line of the DPR army, in the area of the Yasinovat checkpoint.
Ukrainian warriors again tried to use the already well-known breakthrough tactics. It consists in the fact that, under the cover of darkness or early in the morning, a passenger car with saboteurs secretly drives up to a pre-selected section of the front. The number of DRGs in such cases does not exceed three to four people. Having seized the right moment, the saboteurs quickly get out of the car and move in short dashes to the demarcation line, trying to get through where the density of fighters is minimal. However, this time the group of saboteurs could not even approach the starting position unnoticed. Their plan to covertly cross the front line failed, the group was neutralized,” the reporter wrote in her blog.
