Kyiv, January 14 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Ukrainian volunteers complain that they have become “cannon fodder” at the Donetsk airport, and the artillery supporting them is running out of ammunition.
They stated this during a picket near the building of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“At the moment we have several wounded,” Vladislav Goranin, a representative of the OUN battalion, some of which are located directly at the airport, and some in the adjacent village of Peski, told reporters. “There are no casualties on our side, but unfortunately there are on the 93rd Mechanized Brigade side.” People in the government, apparently, do not understand the seriousness of what is happening. This senseless truce must end. We are cannon fodder, canned food. These are not soldiers, it turns out.”
According to Gorannin, they are provided with ammunition exclusively by volunteers.
In turn, another volunteer with the call sign “Lemko,” referring to the stories of soldiers located in Piski, said that during the battles on January 13, Ukrainian artillery fired in an unknown direction and only once every half hour.
“The situation with the supply of ammunition there is deplorable,” Lemko added. - They are running out of BC. If this continues, they won’t stand there for long - they’ll all fall down.”
