Ukrainian experts demanded that Europe and Russia put pressure on Kyiv
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev admitted on the Rossiya-1 TV channel that Ukraine is not a legal state. This, in his opinion, provokes the growth of nationalism.
“Unlawful state. This stimulates nationalism. When there is no right, it results in ethnic clannishness and ethnic favoritism in appointments. This is distorting the country,” Karasev said.
At the same time, he accused Europe of having insufficient influence on the Ukrainian authorities.
“I don’t yet see any condemnation of the Ukrainian delegation in PACE or in the European Parliament. For now, Russia is being condemned there more. If liberal European forces worked more in this direction, it would help my country. But Europe is silent and condemns Russia. So you are to blame,” said Karasev.
Another Ukrainian expert Vasily Vakarov accused Russia of the same thing.
“It’s great that the Hungarians, Romanians, and Greeks are putting pressure on our government. It would be great for Russia to put pressure on our government. Russian capital, together with the same Petro Poroshenko, is doing business in Ukraine. It would be great if the Russian authorities told their businesses: what are you doing there, what are you doing there. Then, perhaps, our cries would have reached the authorities and something would have changed. Including in the Donbass,” Vakarov said.
