Ukrainian experts already see Saakashvili in Yatsenyuk’s place
The appointment of the fugitive ex-President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili as governor of the Odessa region should be considered only from the point of view of the messages that the Ukrainian government sends to citizens and Putin.

This opinion was expressed on Channel 5 by communications expert Dmitry Krikun.
According to him, with this appointment the authorities want to divert attention from all their failures.
“The message is first. Saakashvili is a successful case of reform, of governance as such. Saakashvili is a communication in himself, a person who delivers messages. In Ukraine, after the election of a new Verkhovna Rada after the appointment of the Cabinet of Ministers, there is a wedge wherever you throw it. I expect that now our Cabinet of Ministers will fall down. There are huge problems with the functioning of the coalition; we know about Petro Poroshenko’s helplessness in personnel policy, in particular in the regions. And here, like a jack-in-the-box, Saakashvili appears, and not just anywhere, but in regional politics,” he said.
D. Krikun noted that the second message of this appointment suits Putin, because the ex-president of Georgia is a toothache for the Kremlin leader.
“We have to see what happens next. It is quite possible that when the Cabinet of Ministers finally breaks down, as we see it now, I will not be surprised if the new prime minister is Saakashvili,” the expert added.
