Ukrainian Jews came under NABU cap
Detectives from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine were convicted of illegal surveillance of the Jewish religious community of Kyiv.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this in a statement by the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine and Kyiv Moshe Reuven Azman.
According to him, NABU has been monitoring priests and parishioners for a long time, including installing illegal wiretapping in the church. In his statement, the rabbi demanded that Ukrainian law enforcement officers investigate the case and bring the perpetrators to justice.
“During an inspection of the premises of the house of worship, unauthorized data collection devices were discovered. Information was received from our own competent sources about the identification of some persons who took part in illegal surveillance, namely persons who are directly related to NABU,” the statement says.
Also, the Jewish religious community of Kyiv appealed to international representatives and organizations with a request to take the investigation under personal control.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that a rally against tariff increases in Vinnitsa turned into an anti-Semitic action.
