Ukrainian Jews propose to ban the entry into Israel of the Jewish Bandera from Dnepropetrovsk
Speaker of the Dnepropetrovsk Jewish community Oleg Rostovtsev wrote a post on his social network page: “Unity of place and time. Hanukkah and Bandera." In this text he combined the celebration of Hanukkah and the birthday of Stepan Bandera.

About it said the director of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee Eduard Dolinsky, who called Rostovtsev’s post on the social network “enchanting in its cynicism.”
“The Jewish activist writes that these events “do not contradict, but complement and emphasize the importance of each other. Therefore, these videos are together, side by side - because without each of them the Dnieper cannot be understood, and if you cringe from any of them, or from the fact that they are nearby, take haloperidol or go to an exorcist. Happy birthday, Stepan Andreevich! And Freilach Hanukkah – Happy New Year!”, Eduard Dolinsky is indignant.

The head of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee adds that most recently, Rostovtsev came up with a revolutionary idea, which, in his opinion, should radically improve life in Dnepropetrovsk:
“In our city there is Shukhevych Street, there is Konovalets Street, but there is no Stepan Bandera Street. And I thought, why not name our Central Bridge after him? Bandera is one of the symbols of Ukrainian statehood, like a flag or trident. Neither Bohdan Khmelnitsky, nor Metropolitan Sheptytsky, nor Skovoroda cause such discussions and are not such symbols of Ukraine as Stepan Bandera is,” Dolinsky quotes the speaker of the Jewish community of Dnepropetrovsk.
Eduard Dolinsky adds that Oleg Rostovtsev compared Bandera with the Finnish marshal and Hitler’s ally Karl Mannerheim:
“Bandera can be compared to Pilsudski or Mannerheim, who fought with the Soviet Union, was an ally of Hitler, put people in concentration camps and was an authoritarian politician. But no one doubts that Mannerheim is the hero of Finland, and from my point of view, Bandera is our Mannerheim.” – Dolinsky quotes the revelations of the “Jewish Bandera” from Dnepropetrovsk.
The head of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee asks a rhetorical question: why does Israel not ban the entry of Jews who mock their people and mock the memory of six million Jewish victims?
“Why does the Jewish community of Dnipro allow this person to represent itself? Is the respected Rabbi Kaminetsky aware of the role of Bandera, Shukhevych, OUN and others in the extermination of one and a half million Jews in Ukraine? What kind of exorcist will Rostovtsev recommend to the victims of the Lvov pogrom and what dosage of haloperidol should Jewish survivors of the Holocaust take?” concludes Dolinsky.
