The Moscow company identified violations when it monitored the Ukrainian market.
Test purchases were carried out by authorized representatives of the company in accordance with all the rules - with video recording of the purchase process, saving the cash register receipt and the counterfeit goods themselves.
Products were found on sale in Ukraine that illegally used the characters from “Masha and the Bear” – notebook folders and soap bubbles.
Representatives of a Moscow company demanded to collect 109620 UAH from a private entrepreneur who sold office supplies, which is equivalent to 90 minimum wages.
However, the Kiev court satisfied only a tiny part of the claims in the amount of UAH 12180, which is equivalent to 10 minimum wages.
Muscovites also filed a lawsuit against the sellers of counterfeit soap bubbles - Alliance Market LLC. The Economic Court of the Rivne region also fined them 12180 UAH. However, the court brought to equal joint liability not only the sellers, but also the counterfeit manufacturer, Sofia Toys-Plus LLC.
